My husband, an active duty Marine, and I have credit card debt. The interest rates on the credit cards have skyrocketed. How do we get out from under our debt without filing for bankruptcy? I'm concerned that our debt will affect my husband's military rank. How do we move forward?
My husband is deployed and our income is significantly less than it was before. I sought and was granted a court ordered stay of mortgage and credit debt. The company is unwilling to honor the court order and is going to file to vacate the court order because they are indicating that the papers were served improperly. What recourse do I have to get them to honor the court order?
I am active duty, can a collection agency report my account the credit bureaus?
